Registration Details

HOTEL BOOKING PROCESS (please read carefully)

The preferred room rate is $259 per night (double occupancy). Based on availability, our room block is open for reservations from July 26 – August 2. 

Hotel accommodations can ONLY be reserved as part of the online registration process. (MEAG Power Events Team staff will maintain our reservations list; please do not call the Ritz-Carlton directly.)

ONLY one (1) room per MEAG Power Participant registrant may be booked at the time of registration. MEAG Power Participant registrants must be an employee of a MEAG member utility or a member of a governing body that oversees a MEAG member utility.

One (1) additional room per MEAG Power Participant registrant can be requested during registration; those requests will be added to a waiting list. If you request an additional room, you must register the occupants of the additional room using the Guest Registrant (Adult or Child) tickets below. (If we are unable to fulfill the extra room request, we will refund the registration fees related to that room.)

Registration will close June 15. At that time, if additional rooms remain available, the wait-list rooms will be assigned, on a first-come, first-served basis, first to MEAG Power Participant registrants.

If additional rooms are requested beyond the number available at the Ritz-Carlton, we will have a limited number of rooms available at the nearby Residence Inn by Marriott.

You will not be billed for your hotel stay until the event takes place. Upon check-in, you’ll be required to put a credit card on file.

Why We Implemented this Process

To ensure that all Participants who wish to stay at the Ritz-Carlton are able to do so. In past years, not all Participants have been able to stay on-property at the Ritz-Carlton. This process will prioritize Participants while accommodating the need for any additional rooms on a space-available basis.

We are hopeful that this new process allows all Participants the opportunity to stay at the host venue.


VOTING DELEGATE PROCESS (please read carefully)

Voting Delegates: Please register by choosing the MEAG Participant Registrant ticket. After the Annual Meeting, we will issue all Voting Delegates who voted in the Board election a refund for their Registration fee and for one night’s room cost.


Assumption of Risk: All Adult registrants hereby accept, for themselves and for any minor children they are registering, the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading COVID-19 at the 2024 MEAG Power Annual Meeting (the “event”).
Waiver of Lawsuit/Liability: All Adult registrants hereby agree, for themselves and for any minor children they are registering, to the following: I release and waive my right to bring a claim or lawsuit against MEAG Power and its officers, directors, managers, officials, trustees, agents, employees, or other representatives for any liability in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 related to my attendance at the event. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claim based in negligence, including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.
