Natural Gas

MEAG Power wholly owns the Plant Wansley Combined-Cycle natural gas generating plant. The Wansley combined-cycle facility has a 503 MW capacity and includes two combustion turbines, two supplementary fired heat recovery steam generators, and one steam turbine. Natural gas provides a relatively inexpensive fuel source that comprises the bulk of our carbon-based power.
