Hydropower

MEAG Power is responsible for scheduling and delivering the Southeastern Power Administration’s (SEPA) electric power to our Participant communities, with whom SEPA has direct contracts. SEPA operates a network of 22 dams across the Southeast and serves customers in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, southern Illinois, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Hydro power is MEAG Power’s second-largest source of clean delivered energy behind nuclear.
