Financial Reporting Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, the Financial Reporting Specialist is responsible for the preparation of MEAG Power's annual and quarterly financial reports for public release/disclosure, as well as applicable annual and  quarterly public disclosures pertaining to participant data required by bond disclosure agreements, Power Sales contracts and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

Director, Generation

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Generation is a hands-on role responsible for directing activities associated with the construction, operation, maintenance and compliance of the MEAG generation fleet. Ensure the fleet is constructed and operated in an economical manner while ensuring the reliability of the resources. Provide motivation and strong leadership for the Generation staff.  Support the Executive Team in developing and implementing the strategic plans. Provide MEAG Participants reliable, low cost electric power resources in a manner that assures that the Participants can remain competitive and receive the maximum value from these assets over the long term.

Manager of Communications

POSITION SUMMARY

With limited strategic direction, the Manager of Communications is responsible for management and development of corporate communications initiatives for MEAG Power, including newsletter publication, production of the annual report, quarterly reports, legislative reports, corporate brochures, advertising, electronic media, public relations and special projects aimed at enhancing the organization’s image among Participants, end-use customers, media, bondholders, rating agencies, appointed and elected officials and the public.  This position also manages the planning and production of the organization’s public events such as the Annual Meeting, annual Mayors Summit, legislative and other special events.  Manages department staff and outside contractors in carrying out these responsibilities.
