RFP

MEAG Power has issued an All-Source Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking additional generation resources to add to its balanced portfolio for the reliable, affordable supply of electricity to its Participant communities.

The RFP is open to all resources that can provide at least 375 MW of firm capacity by the summer of 2029, and an additional 75 MW of firm capacity by the summer of 2035.  

The RFP is in line with MEAG Power’s Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) that provides a roadmap for optimizing its resource portfolio over time to meet anticipated capacity and energy requirements of Participants through 2048.

ACES, a provider of energy risk management and transaction execution services, is conducting the all-source RFP on behalf of MEAG Power.
